Events (Studio Operations)

This article will walk you through how to create, manage, and check in attendees for Events inside your CRM.

For formatting reference, see:

The Key Steps

  1. Click Studio Operations in the left-hand navigation menu.
  2. Click Events.

You will now see your Events Dashboard displaying:

  • Event Name
  • Date
  • Revenue
  • Status (Public, Canceled, Completed)

Creating a New Event

  1. Click the New Event button in the top-right corner.

Or, click on an existing event to edit it.

A panel will slide out where you can enter the event details.

1. Enter Event Details

  1. Add the Event Title and Description.
  2. Select the Start Date and End Date.
  3. Enter the Venue Name and Address.
  4. Set the Maximum Capacity for the event.

2. Set Event Status & Visibility

  1. Choose the Event Status.

You can mark the event as:

  • Public
  • Canceled
  • Completed
  1. Choose whether the event appears in the Student Portal.
  2. Enable the Public Event setting if you’d like it visible publicly (based on your settings).

3. Attach an Agreement (Optional)

  1. Select an Agreement if this event requires one.

If you have a specific agreement for seminars, camps, or special events, you can assign it here.

Managing an Event

Once your event is created, click into it to access the Event Dashboard.

Here, you will see:

  • Event date(s)
  • Total registrations
  • Total check-ins

Registering Attendees

  1. Click to Register a Participant.

You can sign someone up directly from this screen — just like the New Enrollment process.

This is perfect for walk-ins. If someone is standing in front of you and wants to register for a seminar or event:

  • Add their information
  • Collect payment
  • Complete checkout

You can also:

  • Create different ticket types with different pricing
  • Set minimum purchase quantities
  • Offer multiple date options

Viewing Registrations & Tickets

  1. Click into the Registrations section of the event.

Here you can:

  • See who is registered
  • View each attendee’s individual ticket
  • Confirm payment status

Each registrant receives their own ticket.

Attendees can download their tickets and receive them electronically.

Checking In Attendees

  1. Use the Check-In feature on the event day.

You can:

  • Scan the attendee’s QR code using a tablet or device
  • Manually search their name and click the Check-In button

Once checked in, their status will update immediately in the system.
