HR - Time Tracking
Time Tracking (HR Section)
This article will walk you through how to use the Time Tracking feature inside the HR section, including the Time Clock, Scheduling, and Payroll tracking tools.

The Key Steps
- Click HR in the left-hand navigation menu.
- Click Time Tracking.
You will now see three main tabs:
- Time Clock
- Scheduling
- Payroll
Using the Time Clock
The Time Clock allows team members to clock in and clock out so you can accurately track hours worked.
1. Clocking In
- Select the User from the dropdown menu.
- Click the Clock In button.
The system will begin recording time for that user.
All logged hours will appear in the Time Clock records and can be used to calculate pay.
2. Viewing Logged Time
- Review recorded hours inside the Time Clock dashboard.
This allows you to:
- See total hours worked
- Track attendance
- Prepare for payroll calculations
Hourly pay and class pay rates are configured in Settings, and can be viewed or updated as needed.
Payroll Tracking
The Payroll section allows you to:
- Review tracked hours and calculate what team members are owed.
Important to note:
- This feature does not process or charge payroll.
- It is strictly a tracking and reporting tool.
- You can export payroll data as needed.
This gives you a clean way to tally hours worked before running payroll through your external payroll provider.
Scheduling & Availability
The Scheduling tab allows you to manage team availability and time off requests.
1. Set Availability
- Enter availability for team members.
This helps supervisors and staff know:
- When someone is scheduled
- When they are expected to work
2. Request Time Off
- Submit a Time Off Request.
When requesting time off, enter:
- Start date
- End date
- Reason (optional)
Then submit the request for approval.
Summary
The HR → Time Tracking section allows you to:
- Clock staff in and out
- Track hours worked
- Review payroll totals
- Export payroll data
- Set availability schedules
- Submit and manage time off requests
Remember, this tool tracks time and calculates totals but does not process payroll payments.
