Tasks
In this article, we’ll walk through the Tasks feature located under the Studio Operations tab and explain how to create, assign, and manage tasks within your system.
The Key Steps
1. Navigate to Tasks
Click the Studio Operations tab in the left-hand navigation menu.
Click Tasks.
Here, you will see all tasks currently created in your system.
2. View Existing Tasks
In the Tasks section, you can:
- See all assigned tasks
- View task status
- Monitor due dates
- Track progress
This gives you a centralized place to manage internal to-dos.
3. Create a New Task
Click Create Task.
You will be able to enter:
- Task Name
- Description
- Status
- To-Do
- In Progress
- Complete
- Cancelled
- Priority
- Due Date
- Due Time
- Set as Recurring (if needed)
4. Assign the Task
You can:
- Associate the task with a Contact
- Assign the task to a specific User in your system
You can also create tasks directly from within a contact profile.
Simply:
- Open a contact
- Go to their Tasks section
- Create and assign a task from there
5. Track Tasks from Your Dashboard
Tasks assigned to you can also appear on your Dashboard, making it easy to monitor what needs attention.
6. Enable Task Notifications
To receive notifications:
- Go to Settings
- Check your Notification Preferences
- Ensure task notifications are turned on
This allows you to be alerted when:
- A task is assigned to you
- A due date is approaching
The Tasks feature helps your team stay organized, follow up consistently, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
