Point of Sale
Point of Sale (POS) –
In this article, we’ll walk through the Point of Sale (POS) section located under the Studio Operations tab and explain how to process in-person transactions.
The Key Steps
1. Navigate to Point of Sale
Click the Studio Operations tab in the left-hand navigation menu.
Then:
- Click Finance
- Click Point of Sale
This will open your POS checkout screen.
2. Add Items to the Cart
Inside the POS screen:
- Click to select the product(s) the customer is purchasing
- Add items to the cart
These items typically come from your Retail Products set up in the Products section.
3. Choose Customer Type
When ready to charge:
You can check out as:
- Guest
- Manually enter their information
- Existing Contact
- Search and select the contact from your system
If selecting an existing contact:
- Any saved payment methods (Card or ACH) will be available
- You can charge the card on file instantly
4. Select Payment Method
You can process payment using:
- Card on File
- ACH (if available)
- Manually entered card (if applicable)
You can also:
- Apply a Coupon Code before completing the transaction
5. Complete the Transaction
Once everything looks correct:
- Confirm the payment
- Process the charge
The transaction will be recorded in the system under Finance.
6. Understand POS vs. Online Shop
The Point of Sale section is designed for:
- In-person checkout
- Front desk transactions
- Manual staff-processed sales
If you want customers to purchase on their own:
- Use the Embedded Shop
- Use the Student App

The Point of Sale system allows you to quickly process retail sales, apply discounts, and charge saved payment methods directly from your CRM.
