Step 5 - Agreements

The Agreements section is where you can create, customize, and manage digital waivers and contracts for your business. Whether you're collecting signatures during student registration or for one-off events like birthday parties or seminars, this tool ensures everything is handled professionally and automatically.

What Are Agreements Used For?

Agreements are versatile digital documents that can serve a variety of purposes, including:

  • Standard membership contracts
  • Liability waivers for students
  • Event-specific waivers (e.g. birthday parties, self-defense seminars, community events)
  • Special permission forms or acknowledgment letters

Each signed agreement becomes part of the member’s record and ensures your business is legally protected and well-organized.

How People Sign Agreements

There are two primary ways a contact can sign an agreement:

  1. Via Unique URL -  Every agreement you create automatically generates a unique shareable link. You can copy and send this URL directly via email, text, or embed it on a webpage.

  2. Via Sales Pages - You can attach an agreement to a specific sales page, so it becomes part of the signup process for trials, retail items, memberships, or events. (More on Sales Pages can be seen below)

What Happens After an Agreement Is Signed?

A copy of the signed agreement is automatically emailed to the contact.

It is also stored in the contact’s profile within your CRM — making it easy to reference, download, or re-send at any time.

  • Text blocks – include disclaimers, terms, expectations, etc.
  • Image blocks – great for logos, headers, or branded elements
  • Initial blocks – require initialing specific sections
  • Signature blocks – captures a full digital signature

Important: You must include at least one signature block to ensure the document is legally signed and that a completed PDF is generated.

Smart Tips for Building Better Agreements

  • Use merge tags to personalize the agreement:
    • Example: Automatically insert the contact’s name, current date, or other CRM data points.
  • Build reusable templates for common needs like monthly waivers or seasonal event forms.
  • Keep formatting clean and mobile-friendly — most people will sign on their phones.
