How to Add a Pop-Up

The Key Steps

  1. Click Website in the left-hand navigation menu on your backend dashboard. 
  2. Click the Tools dropdown in the left-hand navigation menu.
  3. Click Popups in the sub-menu.
  4. Click the green Add New Popup button at the top-right of the screen. 
  5. Add a Title to the pop-up. This will be for organizational purposes. Website visitors will not see the title.
  6. Click the Enable Popup toggle to turn the pop-up on or off. 
  7. Use the menu below the toggle and use the following tabs to customize your pop-up:
    1. Type Tab - Here you will choose the format of your pop-up: Centered will display a large pop-up and darken the page behind it, Bottom Card will display in the bottom left of the screen as a smaller pop-up that will display along with the page its on, and Image & Opt-in will display similarly as the Centered pop-up, but will include an opt-in box to the right of the image you select.
    2. Template Tab - In this tab, you'll choose the template for the format you chose. Each type has different options. Examples in the video below
    3. Content Tab - This tab is where you will add the text, images, or links you'd like included in your pop-up.
    4. Setting Tab - Here is where you'll decide when the pop-up loads, what pages it loads on, and whether it will stay closed after a website visitor closes it.
  8. After you've set up your pop-up and made sure the Enable Popup toggle is on, click the green Publish button.
