How to Add an Announcement Bar

The Key Steps

1. Click on the Global Icon on your navigation menu
2. Select Global Elements
3. Click on the Alert tab
4. Type your announcement in the Alert text box
5. Add a URL to the URL text box if your announcement is linking to somewhere
6. Toggle the Display Alert toggle to Yes
7. Click Update to activate the announcement on top bar of your website

How to Add an Announcement Bar

Displaying an announcement bar on your website is a great way to alert potential leads if you have something going on at your facility, for example a closure for the holidays or a special deal going on. You can also use announcement bars to advertise for special events like a parent's night out. 

Announcements bars will appear at the top of every page of your website. 

To add in an announcement bar, first, click on the Website icon and then select Global Elements under the Global section.

From the Global Elements page, you will need to be open to the Alert tab. 

Where it says Display Alert, you will set the toggle to Yes. 

The Alert field is where you will enter what you want your alert to say. If you want users to click on your alert and be taken to a separate page, you can enter a URL in the URL field. You also have some customization options like hte size and if you'd like to add a shadow to the alert. 

When your alert is ready to go, click on the Update button to save your changes and turn on your alert.
