How to Add a Blog Post

The Key Steps

  1. Click into Content from your action bar
  2. Select Posts under the Blog section
  3. Click the green Add New button
  4. Give your blog post a Title
  5. Type the content of your blog post into the text box
    1. Click the Add Media button to add images to your blog post
  6. Scroll to the bottom and click the Set Featured Image button in the right corner
  7. Upload your featured image or choose from your media library
  8. Click on the green Set Featured Image button at the bottom right of the popup
  9. Click the green Publish button

How to Add a Blog Post

With your Market Muscles site, you're able to add blog posts to your blog page. 

To access your blog posts, click on the Content icon and then click on Posts under the Blog section.

On this page, you will see all your current blog posts listed. 

To create a new blog post, click on the green Add New button.

As you're building out your new blog post, you will first need to give it a title. This will show up at the top of your blog post. 

The content for your post will go in the large text box. You can use the tools at the top of the box to edit the text. 

  • it is good to add links to your Program pages on your website. For example, if there is a blog about "The Benefits of Children's Martial Arts...", you would want the link to you Kid's Martial Arts page somewhere in the blog.

You also can click on the Add Media button to add images within your blog post.

It's a good idea to add a Featured Image to your post as this is what will show up next to your post on your blog page. 

Scroll down to the bottom of the page and locate the Featured Image box on the right side of the screen. Click on the Set featured image button.

You have the ability to select an image from your media library or click on Select Files to upload a new file. 

Once you have selected you file, click on the Set Feature Image button.

On your website, your featured image will appear on the left side of your blog post preview.

When your blog post is ready to be pushed to your website, click on the Publish button on the top right corner of the screen.
